Friends for Seniors
Our Friends for Seniors program offers seniors in need, social support. The program is a giving experience to make an older person's life more special. The program is designed to befriend an older person who lacks meaningful social support (e.g., family/friends) and sprinkle kindness throughout the year.

At United We Age we work with senior living facilities in Florida and North Carolina, where we organized activities and promote events that lift the spirit of seniors in those facilities.

A simple letter can be a powerful gesture of kindness—sharing stories, offering encouragement, or just letting someone know they’re not alone. Whether it’s a few warm words or a longer message, your letter can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Story
Get to Know Us
It began when I volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Vero Beach, Florida back in 2014. I delivered hot meals to senior citizens in need every Tuesday afternoon. Most of the seniors on my route had disabilities and/or faced serious financial challenges. Many of them needed more than a nutritious meal; they needed a social connection. They were living alone with little communication from the outside world.
