I am 65 years old and athritis and hearing impairment have already set in. This seems to be too early to experience the marks of aging. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post. You are not alone- there are millions of aging baby boomers experiencing the marks of aging like arthritis and hearing impairment. My advice is to maintain a positive mindset and utilize what the medical sector offers so you can maintain and/or improve quality of life-- arthritis meds and hearing aids come to mind.
I view the marks of aging as the inconveniences of aging- maintaining quality of life is key. If a hearing aid improves hearing-- wear it. There is no shame in using hearing aids and walkers to maintain quality of life.
